Photo Backstory: While on a work trip out to DC I extended the trip and went to visit some friends who live in Maryland. While on the way to the house my friend Scott said there was this nice park with a lake, trees and awesome fall colors. After parking and walking along the trail, snapping some nice lake photos I was still looking for this shot. I had a photo like this in mind, the tree line fairly even, the white/grey colors of the bark and the fall colors. We walked all over looking for this shot and only when on our way driving out of the park did I spot this. We pulled over and I could not believe my eyes. I snapped a few photos and below is the shot. Some post correction HDR, fixed chromatic aberration at the top corners. Since it was Scott's idea to stop here - I had this image printed on metal for his family and shipped it out as a surprise Christmas gift.
